Carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS), also
called repetitive stress injury and cumulative trauma disorder,
is one of the most prevalent current ailments.
In fact, in 1997 an article in Massage
Message said, "The Occupational Safety and Health
Administration has documented an
increase of reported cases of an astounding 770% since 1985,
and they estimate that by the year 2000
cumulative trauma disorders will
account for 50% of each dollar employers spend on medical
care."

"As
a barber my hands are valuable. When I started involuntarily
dropping my shears while doing haircuts, I knew I had a problem.
I noticed I was losing the pinching motion and strength in
my hand. This went on for 5 to 6 weeks before I went to my
medical doctor. My fear was that it would get worse. After
receiving no relief going through the recommended physical
therapy, the doctor recommended surgery as the only way to
do the nerve release.
As a last resort before surgery I followed the recommendation
of my co-workers who had gone to Ken. After only five treatments,
IŽm problem free and have my gripping strength back. I can
cut hair all day long and not drop my shears, thanks to Ken!"

"From knowing Ken and his techniques,
when I had an unusual and recurring pain in my left hand,
I asked for his assistance. He made some suggestions on how
to release the tension in my arm and shoulder, to relieve
the pain that was occurring in my hand. After following Ken's
direction, the pain went away and I have had no pain there
for over five months."

Symptoms include:
|
|

|
 |
- Pain in wrist and forearm
- Pain radiating down arm
- Sleep interrupted by pain/tingling
- Numbness in hand and/or
fingers
- Weakness in hand and/or
fingers
- Swelling in hands and
forearms
- Inflammation around joints
- Immobility in wrist/hands/fingers
Other nerve entrapment conditions:
- Tennis elbow
- Trigger finger
- Tendinitis
One of the primary causes of nerve entrapment
syndrome is structural imbalance, which is rarely addressed
by medical professionals. In many cases, a solution to repetitive-use
injuries need not be surgery that could require a period of
3 to 5 weeks of inactivity, inability to work and loss of
normal family life. SET releases old structural patterns to
reduce resulting pain in the arms, wrists, and hands, and
rehabilitates and supports a new balanced postural alignment.
There's no reason to suffer
any longer...
just one treatment will normally initiate
the relief you are looking for.
You have nothing to lose but
your annoying symptoms and pain!
